Good food friendly workers nice atmosphere
I'm confused about the hype on this place. Maybe people are caught up in nostalgia because when I ordered a mini pizza today from the take out side and I was left completely unimpressed. The dough was standard pizza shop dough and it was fresh so there's that. The sauce was fresh as well but it was bland and with the mild taste of their cheese underneath it....the whole thing left me feeling disappointed. I genuinly wanted to love this place and it's reputation stands for itself. Tina Fey grew up loving this pizza so it has to be great, right? It wasn't bad, it was fresh and hot..... i guess for me....I found it bland and tasteless. I will go back and eat in the restaurant next time. Maybe the hype comes from the kitchen not pizza conveyer belt oven.
Wow'd by the old-style Italian dishes. Diner like atmosphere, but the pizza and sauces are good and old fashioned. Reminds me of something my grandma or great-grandma would have made.
We live almost 2 hours from Pica's and try to make the trip at least twice a year. This pizza is phenomenal! Actually all of their food is fantastic. The decor is a little 80's and could use a more classy update, but no points taken off for that! It's clean and so tasty you won't really notice. Man.... now I'm craving Picas.
Pica's has been a mainstay of my life since as far back as I can remember. Comfortable atmosphere great food. The pizza is amazing. Definitely recommend for New comers and return visits
